After a summer of the Kentucky women’s basketball program slowly releasing one or two games on the 2025-26 schedule every few weeks, we finally have a full, official schedule to work with.

Kenny Brooks‘ second season in Lexington will begin with a home game against in-state foe Morhead State. On Nov. 9th, the Cats travel to the Empire State to take on the Buffalo Bulls on the road — a bit of a homecoming game for Clara Strack, who is from the area. Kentucky will also head to Huntington, West Virginia to take on Marshall on Nov. 15th, as announced on Thursday.

Additionally, Kentucky will wrap up two home-and-home series during non-conference play. First, they’ll face Purdue on Nov. 18th at home before playing at Belmont on Dec. 14th. Following a road game against Louisville, Kentucky will head to Puerto Rico to take on Maryland and Morgan State in the Discover Puerto Rico Tournament.

Last season, Kentucky was dealt Georgia as its home-and-home opponent in SEC play; however, they were dealt the Vanderbilt Commodores this time around. Vandy is one of the more underrated programs in the SEC, but after losing Khamil Pierre to NC State this offseason, they may take a step back. Of course, they still have Mikayla Blakes — the best freshman in the country a year ago — to give the Cats some headaches.

The Cats could very well repeat their success from a year ago, but it’ll be a tall task. Behind a solid core of seniors (Teonni Key, Amelia Hassett, Jordan Obi, Josie Gilvin and Tonie Morgan) as well as some talented underclassmen, however, it’s certainly possible.
