Kentucky Wide Receiver BJ Alexander Enters the Transfer Portal

by: Nick Roush05/04/20@RoushKSR
Another Kentucky Wildcat is leaving Lexington. Rivals' Jeff Drummond reports wide receiver Marvin "B.J." Alexander has entered the transfer portal. One of four South Florida wide receivers from UK's 2018 recruiting class, the 6'4" athlete from Miami Gardens, FL redshirted in his first season in Lexington. In 2019 he played in only three games as two others from his '18 class, Allen Dailey and Bryce Oliver, emerged as steady second team options at outside wide receiver. Alexander is the third player to enter the transfer portal over the last three days, joining nose guard Cavon Butler and defensive end Day Day Hawkins, another South Florida recruit from Kentucky's 2018 recruiting class. At least two more players will follow suit in the coming days as the Wildcats' 85-man roster takes shape.
