Kentucky will open the 2022 season with Miami (Ohio)
Already looking ahead to the 2022 season? You’ll be happy to know Kentucky will host the Miami RedHawks in the season opener at Kroger Field on September 3, 2022.
According to FBSchedules.com, Miami will receive a $1.4 million guarantee for the game. Kentucky and Miami (Ohio) have played each other 13 times, most recently in 2013 when the Cats beat the RedHawks 41-7. Kentucky has a 8-4-1 lead in the series.
Earlier in the week, it leaked out that Kentucky will host Chattanooga in 2021. Here are all the future non-conference opponents that we know of:
