Kentucky's Blue-White Game WILL be televised on Oct. 17

Not only are tickets cheaper this go-round for Kentucky‘s annual Blue-White Game, but the intrasquad scrimmage will also be televised for the first time under head coach Mark Pope.
Well, streamed, but you can watch it on your television. There is a live broadcast for fans to enjoy. Better? You get the idea.
The Blue-White Event, as the school is calling it, will be shown on SEC Network+, just like Big Blue Madness. The Wildcats will take on the Wildcats inside Historic Memorial Coliseum on Friday, October 17 with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET.
The night will include “interactive competitions amongst the teams with fan engagement at the core of the event,” as UK describes it.
Up to this point, there had been no confirmation on television or streaming plans. That changed this week ahead of tickets going on sale this Friday, Oct. 3, at 10:00 a.m. ET. Reserved seats start at $29.65, including fees, are available exclusively through Ticketmaster (click here). Prices will vary by seat location with a limited number of courtside seats also available for fans looking for a premium experience. Children two years of age and under will be admitted for free when seated on the lap of a ticketed adult.

Big Blue Madness is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 11 at 6:00 p.m. ET, followed by the Blue-White Event on Oct. 17, then the pair of exhibition games vs. Purdue on Friday, Oct. 24 and Georgetown on Thursday, Oct. 30. Season ticket holders are reminded that both exhibition matchups against the Boilermakers and Hoyas are included in season ticket packages.
From there, the season will officially begin for the Wildcats, starting on November 4 vs. Nicholls inside Rupp Arena.
It’s all coming fast, folks. Until then, how about some Blue-White highlights from this time last year to help pass the time?
