Kentucky's road game at Alabama is well-timed

Drew Franklinby: Drew Franklin01/09/16DrewFranklinKSR
hunter-bama It's always a spectacle when Kentucky goes on the road in the SEC. It's every team's Super Bowl, as you've heard a million times before. Fans show up in droves, pretending to care about basketball for one night. T-shirts are placed in every seat. Arenas see sellouts for the first and only time of the season. Every environment is at its absolutely best. But tomorrow's game at Alabama may be an exception. Maybe. You see, Alabama has a pretty big football game on Monday, in case you hadn't heard. The Tide play Clemson for the college football national championship, so anyone who is anyone in Tuscaloosa will be in Phoenix for that game. Add to that the fact students haven't returned for the spring semester, and the Cats might just get a normal, average SEC basketball crowd. Better take advantage of it because it happens only once or twice every decade. Get in there, Blue. Go Cats.
