Kerry Benson newest UK Wildcat....Another player in Lexington?

Word out of Louisville tonight is that PRP senior, Kerry Benson will walk-on at Kentucky next season. Little is known about Kerry, including by me, even though I live in the same town as he does. Benson had a good game in the Kentucky-Ohio all star game a couple of weeks ago and was originally asked to walk-on by Tubby the day before he took the job at Minnesota according to the Courier Journal. Assistant Coach Jeremy Cox apparently honored the offer, and now Benson is a Cat. I have been unable to find a picture of Benson, but above is Kerry Benson, the journalism professor at Kansas. So I hope that helps. Multiple reports tonight that Alex Legion, Joe Crawford and Coach Gillispie were (once again) at Sal's Steakhouse tonight. Considering this is where we heard they were last night, either one report was wrong or Billy Clyde has found a restaurant he likes and is going to go nowhere else during his time in Lexington. These reports have also suggested that another recruit was there as well.....and some are guessing its Michael Sanchez. We will look more into it tomorrow, and we remind EVERYONE to take these "reports" of sightings of coaches and recruits with a huge grain of salt....but we are learning something.....to see recruits, Sal's Steakhouse is THE place to go.
