KSBar & Grille set to take summer break, will reopen in August

KSBar & Grille will be temporarily closed this summer as it takes care of some renovations and needed upgrades ahead of Kentucky football and basketball seasons this fall and winter. The restaurant announced its break will start June 3 before reopening in August — well before kickoff vs. Toledo inside Kroger Field on Aug. 30.
“With the summer here, KSBar & Grille will be taking a short break for June and July to give us a chance to do some needed renovations and fixes,” the restaurant said Monday. “We will be reopening in August with revisions, some new menu items and other upgrades. We look forward to seeing everyone again in August.”
“We’re taking a break,” Matt Jones added. “We’re going to do some upgrades to the facility, refresh the menu and the interior.”

KSBar & Grille has been the go-to spot for Kentucky sports, wings and beer since the restaurant opened in August 2018. The brief pause will not impact Kentucky Sports Radio, hosted by Matt Jones, Drew Franklin, Ryan Lemond and Shannon The Dude each week Monday through Friday from 10 AM ET to Noon ET — nor will it impact anything we do on the KSR website every day.
Tilted Kilt, KSBar’s neighbor, is expected to remain open during the break.
As for KSBar Trivia Finals, those will still take place in June with further details to come.
I can already taste those smoked wings with KSR sauce, cheese logs, loaded house chips and ice cold beers from Country Boy Brewing. August can’t come fast enough.
We’ll see you then, BBN.
