KSR's 2025 Kentucky High School Football Top 25 Rankings: Week 3

The third week of Kentucky high school football came with plenty of shocking results.

In a week where seven in-state matchups featured Top 25 teams, a handful of them ended in upsets, none bigger than Cooper’s 20-13 win over Ryle up in northern Kentucky. The most notable upset of the week came from an unranked Lexington Catholic team, which went into Danville and shocked Boyle County 17-7. The Knights have deservedly moved into this week’s poll. Also, for the first time since the preseason, we no longer have a unanimous number one. Trinity remains at the top, but the Shamrocks’ 24-21 loss to Moeller (OH) in the KSR Game of the Week had a few voters going with St. Xavier as the best team in the state.
