KSR Happy Hour: Catching up on a newsy Kentucky sports week
I’m back from a quick vacation, and man, I missed a lot. Thankfully, Zack Geoghegan and Jack Pilgrim are here to catch me up on KSR Happy Hour.
Every Thursday at 4 p.m. ET, a rotating panel of KSR writers will recap the news of the day, preview the weekend ahead, and probably get way off topic, all while enjoying a delicious refreshment from Country Boy Brewing. Today, Zack and Jack will quickly catch me up on the news I missed this week, including Cutter Boley taking over the role of starting quarterback, UK building a new men’s basketball practice facility, and Mitch Barnhart’s comments about the state of the football program. We’ll also look ahead to Saturday’s game vs. Eastern Michigan and catch up on who Mark Pope and his staff have been visiting on the recruiting trail. Speaking of Pope, it’s his and Alvin Brooks III’s birthdays, so maybe we’ll sing Happy Birthday in case they’re listening. Actually, scratch that. We’d never do that to our loyal listeners.
We’ll also be answering your questions and reading comments from the YouTube live chat, so join us to celebrate Baby Friday. Be sure to subscribe to the channel so you don’t miss any of our excellent content.
