The first Kentucky Basketball-Football doubleheader weekend of the year is almost here. Sure, the Blue-White Game is just an exhibition, but you wouldn’t know from our excitement. Pop open a Country Boy Brew and join us for another KSR Happy Hour as we celebrate the start of crossover season.

Every Thursday at 4 p.m. ET, a rotating panel of KSR writers will recap the news of the day, preview the weekend ahead, and probably get way off topic, all while enjoying a delicious refreshment from Country Boy Brewing. Today, Zack Geoghegan and Nick Roush are joining me and Drew Franklin to preview the Blue-White Game, the football game vs. Texas, and what could be two insane weekends in Lexington. Zack will share some stories from SEC Media Days in Birmingham, while Nick will give us the pulse of the football program as coaching rumors swirl and Arch Manning and the Longhorns come to town. We’ll also talk about the Herald-Leader’s report that Kentucky spent $22 million on its roster and what that means for this season and beyond.

We’ll also be answering your questions and reading comments from the YouTube live chat, so join us to celebrate Baby Friday. Be sure to subscribe to the channel so you don’t miss any of our excellent content.
