KSR Happy Hour: Catching our breath during a roller coaster week
It’s Thursday at 4 p.m. ET, which means it’s time for KSR Happy Hour, presented by Country Boy Brewing. We certainly have a lot to talk about.
It’s been another roller coaster week in BBN, as the football program lost to Louisville, fired Mark Stoops, and hired Will Stein. While football is trending up, basketball is trending down after Tuesday’s depressing loss to North Carolina. Drew Franklin, Jack Pilgrim, and Steven Peake will be with me in Nashville for Friday’s game vs. Gonzaga. Will the Cats bounce back, or are we bracing for the fourth loss of the season? Just one month ago, Kentucky tipped off the regular season, and now, we’re worried about falling out of the Top 25. Depressing.
Kentucky Volleyball starts its NCAA Tournament run tonight at Historic Memorial Coliseum, so we’ll get you ready for that as well. We’ll also be answering your questions and reading comments from the YouTube live chat, so join us. Be sure to subscribe to the channel so you don’t miss any of our excellent content.
Shoutout to our presenting sponsor, Country Boy Brewing

Further thanks to LG&E and KU!
LG&E and KU knows that when the lights go out, it can feel like a full-court press. But staying in the know is an easy win. Update your phone number in the LG&E and KU mobile app or in My Account. If the power goes out, you’ll get play-by-play texts from 454-358 with outage updates, safety information, and time estimates for power restoration. Can’t text? No problem. We’ll call the landline on your account with the same updates so you’re never left in the dark.
Because in the dark, there’s no defense. But with LG&E and KU, you’ve always got a team working to get the lights back on and let you know the game plan. Update your number today at lge-ku.com/outages.
