Need something to watch this Wednesday evening? I get it. The ESPY Awards aren’t what they used to be, Major League Baseball has the night off, and the new season of Big Brother hasn’t gotten exciting yet. May I recommend something new and outside the cable box? How about the KSR YouTube page? There are several new videos from this week’s doubleheader of SEC Media Days and Peach Jam, and with KSR boots on the ground at both events, our YouTube page is busier than the Paul brothers’.

Here, have a preview:

SEC Media Days

At SEC Media Days, Wednesday was Kentucky Football’s day in front of the bright lights and handheld voice recorders of the Southeastern Conference. With Mark Stoops, Will Levis, DeAndre Square, and Kenneth Horsey making the rounds, you have plenty of Kentucky Football content to consume from the biggest day of the talking season for the Wildcats.

One Big Blue Nation will find interesting, Stoops gave a brief update on Chris Rodriguez:

Another you may enjoy, Will Levis revealed some of what he learned from his time with Peyton and Eli at Manning Passing Academy earlier this summer.

Peach Jam

In addition to SEC Media Days, the biggest event in college basketball recruiting is ramping up two hours east at Peach Jam in North Augusta. Jack Pilgrim and Zack Geoghegan are on the scene for Kentucky Sports Radio to follow the top recruits on Kentucky Basketball’s big board as they compete in the Nike EYBL Final, and to follow the Kentucky coaches around the gym to see who catches their eye.

One notably absent coach so far is none other than John Calipari, who stayed back in Lexington for an important visitor on campus. He is with Ugonna Kingsley, the top-ranked center in the 2024 recruiting class who is considering a reclassification to play college basketball this upcoming season.

Jack Pilgrim explained Ugonna Kingley’s situation from Peach Jam:

You can watch KSR’s entire check-in with Jack and Zack down at Peach Jam below. There will be plenty more to come in the days ahead.
