KSR's Kentucky High School Basketball Top 25 Rankings - Feb 13

Troy Howellby:Troy Howell02/13/23

With district tournaments starting next week, it’s time for another rankings update.

As part of KSR’s Week 11 Kentucky high school basketball rankings, the 11th Region features three of the top eight teams — No. 2 Lexington Catholic, No. 4 Frederick Douglass, and No. 8 Great Crossing — so winning that region may turn out to be a tougher challenge than winning the Sweet 16, depending on draws and matchups.

The top three remain unchanged from Week 10, but there was still plenty of movement throughout the rest of the Top 25. Evangel Christian jumped six spots after a 10-point win over Ballard, which fell six spots as a result. North Laurel is back to trending in the right direction (jumping six spots to No. 15) by getting revenge on Covington Catholic, as is Harlan County, which saw a seven-spot jump following a 3-0 record last week. Pleasure Ridge Park and Grant County were the biggest losers, falling five and eight spots, respectively, but still holding on to a Top 25 ranking.

Check out KSR’s updated statewide rankings following Week 10 action below. You can view last week’s rankings here.
