We’re just ten days away from the start of The Basketball Tournament (TBT); there’s a path for La Familia, Kentucky’s alumni team, to host every game at Memorial Coliseum, including the winner-take-all $1 million championship. Only The Ville, Louisville’s alumni team, stands in the way.

This morning, TBT announced that La Familia has sold 4,000 tickets to the Lexington Regional, which secures second place in the Home Court Advantage rankings. The team in first? The Ville. That means if La Familia wins the Lexington Regional and The Ville wins the Louisville Regional, the two teams will once again face off in the quarterfinals at Freedom Hall. If The Ville loses before then and La Familia keeps winning, they’ll host every game at Memorial Coliseum.

That journey starts on July 18, one week from Friday. La Familia will play Stroh’s Squad at 9:00 p.m. ET on FS1. If La Familia advances to the second round, they will face the winner of War Ready (Auburn Alumni) and X-Rayted on Sunday, July 20, at 2:30 p.m. ET on FOX Sports. The Lexington Regional championship game is Tuesday, July 22, at 6 p.m. ET on FS2. Tickets for the Lexington Regional are still available at TBTHoops.com/tickets.

The winner of the Lexington Regional will play the winner of the Louisville Regional in the quarterfinals on Monday, July 28, at 6 p.m. on FS1. The semifinals and $1 million winner-take-all championship game will be July 31 and Aug. 3.

Last week, La Familia announced that YouTube star Jesser is joining the squad. Jesser has 31 million subscribers on YouTube and will provide content and major exposure for the team. He’s the eleventh member of the roster, which includes eight former Cats; former Murray State star DJ Burns (not the one who played at NC State); and Kerem Kanter, Enes’ little brother, who played with La Familia last year.
