Lessons from Papa Cal

If this were Facebook or Twitter, I'd turn this post into a collage of photos of my dad while expounding upon why James Wheatley is the greatest father to ever grace the earth. Luckily for you, this is Kentucky Sports Radio and the only dad you'll hear about today (at least from me) will be Coach Cal's pops. At least you might kind of care about his dad unlike the hoards of dad pics you'll undoubtedly encounter on social media today. John Calipari posted six lessons he learned from his father this morning on Facebook. Each of them provides an insight into how Cal conducts himself and how he has reached this point in his life. Here's a sneak preview: 2. There's a long way or a short way.  Always take the long way. I can think of a few times where the short way is appropriate but I feel you Cal.
