LIVE: Point Kentucky Recaps No. 22 Kentucky's Winning Weekend and Previews the Week Ahead
Sunday afternoon, the No. 22 Kentucky volleyball team picked up a second-straight victory for the first time this season after downing Alabama in Tuscaloosa in four sets. That came after a thrilling five-set victory Friday night over the Georgia Bulldogs.
As the Cats turn their attention to a road match against Missouri this Friday and a clash with Ole Miss at home inside Rupp Arena on Sunday, Hunter Mitchell and Leah Edmond are back to discuss Kentucky’s recent success and their path in the SEC moving forward.
But along with the current Cats, a new season is about to kick off for a few former Wildcats as Leah Edmond, Alli Stumler Linnehan, and Kaz Brown all begin their season with Athletes Unlimited Friday night. The professional volleyball league will run for a month and coincide with the women’s collegiate volleyball season. Leah will preview the league with us as she prepares for her third season with AU.
