LIVE: Pregame scenes ahead of Kentucky's final exhibition vs. Georgetown

We’re just a couple of hours away from watching Mark Pope‘s Kentucky men’s basketball program in action.
After taking down top-ranked Purdue last Friday in impressive fashion, the No. 9 Wildcats will return to Rupp Arena tonight for one more exhibition ahead of next week’s season-opener against Nicholls. The opponent? Ed Cooley‘s Georgetown Hoyas, which could be facing a bit of a rebuild season after losing a ton of starters from last season’s group. The Big Blue Nation will be hoping for another dominant performance from the ‘Cats on Halloween Eve.
Ahead of the action, Jack Pilgrim and I will be making our usual walk down High Street to preview the matchup. The expectation is that starting point guard Jaland Lowe will be sidelined as he continues to recover from his shoulder injury. Denzel Aberdeen‘s status is also up in the air after he did not participate in Wednesday’s open practice.
