LOOK: Adam Sandler rocked his Kentucky jersey during tour stop at Rupp Arena

Adam Sandler: huge Kentucky guy.
After Mark Pope and the rest of the Kentucky men’s basketball team gifted Sandler — a known basketball fanatic — his own Wildcat jersey following practice on Thursday afternoon, the Happy Gilmore star broke in his new threads on stage at Rupp Arena.
Our KSR friends Mario Maitland and Jacob Polacheck were in the building to catch Sandler’s You’re My Best Friend tour stop in Lexington. During the middle of the show, with guitar in hand, he was rocking a #25 Kentucky jersey.

In case you didn’t see it earlier in the day, Sandler was making the rounds at the Joe Craft Center ahead of his show. He stopped by the Kentucky men’s and women’s basketball practices, and even hopped over to the Lancaster Aquatic Center to meet with the swim and dive team. Pope and Co. made sure to make Sandler feel extra welcome on campus, with point guard Jaland Lowe the one to hand him his brand-new Kentucky jersey.
Sandler told both basketball teams they could have tickets for his show tonight. That’d be a tough gift to turn down. Per Brandon Garrison‘s Instagram story, the team got to meet actors Kevin James and Kevin Nealon at the show, too!
