The stars were out in the city of Louisville on Saturday. The 148th running of the Kentucky Derby brought out plenty of celebrity faces to watch one of the sport’s biggest upsets. From rap artists Drake and Louisville’s own Jack Harlow, to actors Dean Norris and Jennifer Robertson, to Kentucky governor Andy Beshear and even someone in a full T-Rex costume, the red carpet was a who’s who of big names.

Those big names also extended to the Big Blue Nation, which was well-represented at the famous Churchill Downs track. Football stars Will Levis and Wan’Dale Robinson (who hit big on a winning ticket) were in attendance, as were the likes of men’s basketball assistant Orlando Antigua and future NBA rookie TyTy Washington. Former women’s basketball coach Matthew Mitchell and his wife Jenna stopped by as well, as did Kentucky graduate and Miss USA winner Elle Smith, among plenty others.

Check out the sights and sounds from members of the BBN at the Debry.

Will Levis

Wan’Dale Robinson

I’m not sure if Wan’Dale Robinson’s luck will ever run out at this point. First, he was drafted No. 43 overall by the New York Giants, then he saw the city of Frankfort declare May 7, 2022, as Wan’Dale Robinson Day, and finally, he was one of the lucky few who bet on 80-1 longshot Rich Strike to win the Derby.

Not a bad couple of weeks for the Bluegrass native.

TyTy Washington

Not only was TyTy Washington having fun trolling the entire city of Louisville on Derby Day, but he was also soaking in the fancy and expensive atmosphere at Churchill Downs while cleaning up quite nicely.

Orlando Antigua and Chin Coleman

A pair of Kentucky Men’s Basketball assistants, Orlando Antigua and Chin Coleman, made the short trip to Louisville to enjoy the festivities. As expected, Coleman was dressed to the nines, with Antigua doing a good job of keeping up with the local fashion icon.

A Chin Coleman fit is never complete without the box-shaped glasses.
