LOOK: Kentucky Football Rolls Out Alternate Black Helmets vs. Louisville
For years the BBN has heard whispers about a secret, alternate Kentucky football helmet. Time and time again, fans got their hopes up, only to see a familiar look. Now from the clouds, the Wildcats a wearing new matte black helmets.
The new black helmets feature the alternate Wildcat logo only previously used on the players’ pants.

Kentucky will wear all-blue uniforms with the black lids. Kentucky is 17-6 in all-blue uniforms under Mark Stoops, 1-1 in 2022.
Hate it or love it, it’s fun to see something new from the Wildcats at Kroger Field. If the “look good, feel good,” saying is true, the BBN could be in for a real treat Saturday afternoon.
