The Kentucky football team is on its way down to Knoxville for a showdown against the undefeated No. 3 Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday, but the ‘Cats made a quick detour during the trip for a pre-gameday practice.

On Friday, the Wildcats stopped by the University of the Cumberlands, a private Christian university located just north of the Tennessee border in Williamsburg, KY, to get in some reps. Cumberlands, a member of the NAIA, is currently in the middle of its own football season. The Patriots are 4-4 on the season with a 2-4 conference mark, and are currently on a bye week.

UK will play Tennessee this Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. EST on ESPN in Knoxville, TN.

The University of the Cumberlands shared some pictures from Kentucky’s practice on its Facebook page. You can check them out below.
