LOOK: Rhyne Howard, Davion Mintz, and Oscar Tshiebwe together in NOLA
The State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships are set to take place on Thursday night where Rhyne Howard and Davion Mintz will suit up as participants. Those two were joined by a fan favorite who will lead the Go Big Blue chants from the crowd, Oscar Tshiebwe. Smiles were had all around down in New Orleans, LA.
The trio of Kentucky Wildcat hoopers posed for a picture as Howard and Mintz prepare for the 3-Point Contest, and it’s enough to make you forget that March 2022 ever happened.

Okay, so maybe that’s a bit hyperbolic, but come on, that’s a great picture. Howard and Tshiebwe will forever go down as two of the greatest players to ever come through this program for different, yet equally worthy, reasons. Mintz was the one who came back after a tragic 2020-21 season, soon cementing himself as one of the all-time fan favorites of the John Calipari era. His dog became a local icon, for crying out loud. These ‘Cats deserve all the love.
The College_Slam Instagram account was able to snap a quick video of Howard and Mintz having some fun before they compete in the 3-Point Contest. The event is streaming live on ESPN.
Can they just ALL come back for another season? Please?
