The 6-foot-6 shooting guard has already shown off the floral suit and gold chain he picked out for tonight: [caption id="attachment_263585" align="alignnone" width="551"] @KentuckyMBB[/caption] Taking an even closer look at his attire, you can see a pretty shiny watch on his left wrist. And according to ESPN's Darren Rovell, that time-keeper is reportedly worth over $60,000. On Twitter this evening, Rovell says that Herro's Datejust watch retails at $12,700 and there are over $50,000 worth of diamonds added on as after-market modifications. https://twitter.com/darrenrovell/status/1141821261854720013 When asked why the watch was set to 23 and if it had anything to do with Michael Jordan or LeBron James, Herro told Rovell that it was already set that way when he got it and he was afraid to mess with it. “No [it had nothing to do with Jordan or James]," he said. "It was like that and I didn’t want to touch it.” Now before the BBN freaks out about Herro's spending habits or saving money, the watch was likely a rental or loaned to him by the jeweler for exposure on the big stage. Nonetheless, that's a pretty expensive piece of jewelry for a 19-year-old. [mobile_ad]
