Louisville throws a middle finger at BBN as Kentucky leads at halftime

The rivalry is so back, Louisville picking up right where Rick PItino left off his last time inside Rupp Arena with Khani Rooths throwing a bird at the crowd on his way to the tunnel at halftime.
I’m sure Big Blue Nation gave him a warm welcome and told him to rest up at the break before getting after it again in the second half. Then the freshman forward dropped a bomb from the top rope, firing a middle finger at the surely innocent fan on his way to the back.

That closed out a heck of a first half that saw Kentucky lead Louisville 46-40 at the break — a six-point lead that feels like it should be more considering the Wildcats are shooting a ridiculous 69.6 percent from the field and 71.4 percent from three. And it’s not like the Cardinals are shooting particularly well to stay in it, finishing the half hitting 41.7 percent overall and 36.8 percent from three.
The issue? UK has taken just 23 total shots overall and seven from deep compared to 36 attempts from the field and 19 from three for UofL.
