The nickname of La Familia was coined almost immediately to describe the way the current players, former players, and coaching staff all stayed connected. It would appear that this team has already bought in to the "La Familia" lifestyle. Just take a look at this quote from Malik Monk about what it means to be a Kentucky Wildcat: https://www.instagram.com/p/BLhMUyIjIBM/?taken-by=kentuckymbb What more could you ask for out of a kid who hasn't even stepped onto the floor yet? A few practices in and the team is already a family? Sounds like a recipe for success to me. Usually you can tell if a team is really gelling throughout the season, not only by their play, but by the way they interact with each other. For some teams it happens early in the year. For others, it never really seems to happen. It sounds like the newest edition of the Kentucky Wildcats already has that taken care of. Cant wait to watch these guys on the court together.
