With the transfer portal now whirling at an unprecedented speed (or whatever transfer portals do), ESPN’s Jeff Borzello updated his rankings of the 100 best players on the market; unsurprisingly, Kentucky’s targets are all near the top.

Marcus Carr (Minnesota) is No. 1, Adam Miller (Illinois) No. 5, Mac McClung (Texas Tech) No. 11, and De’Vion Harmon (Oklahoma) No. 14. Oscar Tshiebwe and Kellan Grady, both already on next year’s roster, are No. 7 and No. 9 respectively.

“One of the best scorers in the country last season, [Marcus] Carr earned third-team All-Big Ten honors after averaging 19.4 points and 4.9 assists,” Borzello wrote of the Minnesota point guard. “He also entered his name into the NBA draft, but it’s hard to imagine him getting passed as the top transfer available.”

Carr is expected to take his time with the NBA Draft process, so it could be a while before we know his decision. If Kentucky isn’t willing to wait, Adam Miller is another nice option, and as Jack Pilgrim told you last night, KSR learned that he’s been working out with Kentucky signee Bryce Hopkins.

Other familiar names on the list: Justin Powell (Auburn to Tennessee) at No. 20, Devin Askew (Kentucky to Texas) at No. 22, Rocket Watts (Michigan State to TBD) at No. 43, D.J. Jeffries (Memphis to TBD) at No. 49, and Jemarl Baker (Arizona to Fresno State) at No. 80. If you have an ESPN Insider subscription, you can see the whole list at the link below.
