Marcus Lee and his AfterShocks squad are just three wins away from $1 million, advancing to the Elite Eight of The Basketball Tournament with a victory on Sunday.

The AfterShocks, a team comprised of former Wichita State Shockers Markis McDuffie, Conner Frankamp, Darral Willis Jr., Samajae Haynes-Jones, Trey Wade, Alterique Gilbert and Asbjorn Midtgaard, pulled off a tenth consecutive victory inside Charles Koch Arena with a 63-59 win over Team Arkansas. It came on a game-winning 3-pointer from Tyrus McGee, formerly of Iowa State.

They did it in front of a crowd of 5,032 fans, the fourth-largest in TBT history.

Lee previously finished with six points and three rebounds against the B1 Ballers in round one of the 64-team tournament, followed by a two-point, four-rebound, one-block effort in game two vs. the Beal Street Boys. A final box score has not yet been released for the Sweet 16 win over Team Arkansas, but the former Wildcat came up big for the AfterShocks down the stretch, highlighted by a putback bucket during the famous Elam Ending to set up the game-winning three from McGee.

Now, they’ll take on Heartfire in the quarterfinals of The Basketball Tournament on Tuesday for a spot in the Final Four.

Elsewhere, Archie Goodwin is set to make his debut with Eberlein Drive this week in The Basketball Tournament. He’ll play in Louisville on Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET inside Freedom Hall, the game broadcast live on ESPN+.

Looking to check out a future Wildcat in action? Somto Cyril will play for Team Overtime in TBT starting Wednesday at 6 p.m. ET in Dayton, also on ESPN+.
