Marquan McCall has turned an outstanding week of draft prep in Las Vegas into an invitation to participate in the NFL Combine.

The former UK nose guard has been consistently praised as one of the standout performers at the East-West Shrine Bowl. It’s hard not to be impressed when he’s doing stuff like this.

McCall has been tabbed as a top performer by Pro Football Focus after every day of practice. The most recent analysis from Anthony Treash:

McCall — who is also known as “Bully” — has been one of the biggest risers of the week. The 6-foot-2, 346-pound nose tackle plays with a mean streak and has upper-body strength that makes interior linemen’s lives hell. Not to mention, his personality and energy are infectious.

NFL front offices want to see more from Bully. That is why he will be in Indianapolis in the first week of March for the NFL Combine. Before he takes his talents to Lucas Oil Stadium, you can watch Bully do work in the East-West Shrine Game Thursday night at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on the NFL Network at 8 pm ET.

Josh Paschal Absent from the Senior Bowl

While McCall balls in Vegas, a handful of Wildcats are in Mobile for the Senior Bowl. Practice kicked off today with one glaring omission, Josh Paschal.

It’s currently unclear why the Kentucky defensive end is absent from Senior Bowl festivities. KSR has not been able to confirm, but the injury Paschal suffered in the Governor’s Cup may still be lingering. It sidelined him from action in the Citrus Bowl. Whatever the case may be, hopefully Paschal is able to prove this spring that he belongs near the top of big boards around the NFL.

Measurements for NFL Draft Cats

The science behind measurables for draft prospects seems silly, especially the system they use to calculate a person’s height. Regardless, here is how each played weighed in this week.

The NFL Network is recapping each day of practice tonight and Wednesday at 8 pm ET, and will broadcast the game in its entirety this Saturday at 2:30 pm ET.
