Pennsylvania linebacker Max Mohring locks in official visit with Kentucky

Kentucky was the first power conference program to offer Malvern (Pa.) Prep linebacker Max Mohring. Lead recruiter Brad White then quickly got an official visit scheduled for the unranked prospect in the Mid-Atlantic.
Mohring will be on campus the weekend of June 13 along with J.T. Barlow, Darnell Collins, Larry Miles, Da’Ron Parks, Justin Edwards, Davis McCray, Keymian Henderson, Amari Thomas-Clemons, and others for the biggest recruiting weekend of the year.
Max Mohring received a scholarship offer from UK on April 30 and got an official visit scheduled on May 15. The prospect is high school teammates with blue-chip EDGE Jackson Samuels-Ford. Kentucky has been pursuing the four-star prospect for a couple of months and will receive a mid-week visit in June while Michigan, Penn State, Stanford, USC, and Wisconsin are also in pursuit. Mohring will follow his team to Lexington just 10 days later.
The unranked Mid-Atlantic linebacker has received multiple Ivy League offers from Brown, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Penn, and Princeton. Max Mohring recently clocked 11.55 in the 100 meters at 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds.

Kentucky has a need at off-ball linebacker in the 2026 recruiting cycle with Alex Afari Jr., Daveren Rayner, and Landyn Watson entering their senior seasons. The recruitment is serious enough with Max Mohring that the Cats are getting him on campus for one of the biggest events of the summer.
