Kentucky might finally have some momentum on the recruiting trail after logging their third commitment of the month when high three-star cornerback Jordan Crutchfield committed to the Cats on Wednesday. Could another defensive back recruiting win be around the corner?

Rockford (Ill.) Gilford defensive back Messiah Tilson recently made a visit to Kentucky. The top-500 recruit has cut his list of schools to four and will be making his announcement on Monday.

Kentucky, Minnesota, Rutgers, and Wisconsin are all pursing the prospect in Northern Illinois. Minnesota is scheduled to get Messiah Tilson on campus this weekend for an official visit. Kentucky, Rutgers, and Wisconsin have already hosted the prospect on campus in an official capacity. Tilson has also taken an official visit to Iowa.

Safeties coach Frank Buffano appears to be the lead recruiter here for the Wildcats. The program might be in position to add another defensive commitment in a few days. There is plenty of work left to be done in this high school cycle.
