This is the kind of thing I love. My alma mater, the Middlesboro Fighting Yellow Jackets are a small 2A school from the hills of Eastern Kentucky and they went up against evil, 6A Dunbar from the mean streets of Lexington. When I saw the matchup, I asked people, “why in the world would Middlesboro do that”? And now we know…..because they wanted a victory. Middlesboro, led by Hunter Adams (above), the son of former UK wildcat Vic Adams, took down Dunbar 27-0 tonight in a game that will be remembered for generations to come. I didnt see it, but my Yellow Jacket pride is ignited. With Bell County ranked first in the state in 4A and the Boro taking out the big dogs, the center of football in North America is now Bell County, Kentucky…..get on board while you still can.
