Mike Lupica was on SportsCenter this morning when he was asked about his recent interview with John Calipari -- you know, the one where Cal may or may not have taken a shot at Rick Pitino.
Well, Lupica doesn't think it was a shot at Pitino at all. He insists he was asking a generic question of what coaches should and shouldn't know, and Cal responded with a general answer.
"I didn't think he was taking a shot at Rick Pitino," Lupica said. "At North Carolina, they thought it was about Roy Williams. At Syracuse, they thought it was about Boeheim. So on that level, I guess it was a good question."
Lupica went on to say, "I don't think he thought he was amping up this feud between him and Pitino. He was answering a question."
