2023 Top 5 recruit Mookie Cook schedules official visit to Kentucky
Kentucky’s got two top-five 2023 prospects on campus this weekend in Mackenzie Mgbako and Dajuan Wagner Jr. In a few weeks, another top-five talent will come to Lexington. According to Joe Tipton, Marquis “Mookie” Cook will take an official visit to Kentucky on October 29. That night, the Cats play their first exhibition game vs. Kentucky Wesleyan.
Cook, a 6’7″ 200 lbs. small forward from Chandler, Arizona, is No. 5 in On3’s 2023 recruiting rankings. He plays for Compass Prep, the same school TyTy Washington attended. Kentucky has not offered him a scholarship yet, but the staff visited him last month. Chin Coleman is his lead recruiter.
