KSR's Best Three Week 1 NFL Bets on MyBookie.ag

Here at Kentucky Sports Radio headquarters, our primary focus this week is on Kentucky Football’s upcoming trip to Gainesville to upset the Gators. However, we can still have wandering eyes for other football games and tonight’s season premiere of Thursday Night Football is a game that will certainly get lots of attention. Then on Sunday, the first full slate of NFL games for your morning, afternoon, and evening on the couch as you nurse a hangover from Saturday night’s celebration.
Before it all begins, let’s find some short-term investment opportunities in the Week 1 point spreads over at MyBookie.ag, KSR’s online betting partner. Use promo code KSR at sign-up to double your deposit and then consider these three NFL plays to get going.
Rams (+2.5) vs. Bills
Tonight, the LA Rams host the Buffalo Bills in the debut of Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime. Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit will be in the booth as the defending champs open the season as a home underdog against the 2023 Super Bowl favorites. The Rams are getting 2.5 points.
The Super Bowl champs as a home dog in So-Fi Stadium? I’m in and I bought the half-point to get a whole field goal just in case the Bills break a tie game with a walk-off. So, go Rams and go Liam Coen, and go Jeff Bezos for giving fans a heavyweight fight for the first game of the season.
Panthers (-2) vs. Browns
Baker Mayfield is a player to watch on opening weekend as he debuts as the Panthers’ new starting quarterback against the team that drafted him first overall in 2018 and ditched him two months ago for a fourth-round pick. If there’s ever a time for Baker to play his best ball, it’s this weekend in his revenge game against the Browns with Jacoby Brissett in for Deshaun Watson as Cleveland’s QB.
It helps that we’re new Panthers fans now that Marquan McCall made the team. Keep pounding.
Cowboys (+2.5) vs. Bucs
Tom Brady is starting to look like a skeleton before his 23rd season begins Sunday at JerryWorld in Dallas. Many are wondering if the GOAT still has it—but for real this time—after he skipped out on training camp and told reporters, “there’s a lot of s**t going on,” the day he broke his 11-day absence.
On Sunday, we’ll find out if Brady is still Brady because he’s never lost to the Dallas Cowboys in his entire career. America’s Former Team is 0-6 against Brady, and the Cowboys are getting 2.5 points in their seventh attempt to open the new season.
