Netflix's first look at "Any Given Saturday," a new series following SEC football

With SEC Media Days underway in Atlanta, what better time than now to reveal the first trailer for Netflix’s new docuseries on the SEC? Titled SEC Football: Any Given Saturday, the Netflix production went behind the scenes with each SEC football team last season for a new show set in the style of Hard Knocks.
For Kentucky‘s purposes, Netflix’s timing around the Wildcats couldn’t have been much worse, considering the cameras were reportedly in Lexington for Kentucky’s losses to South Carolina and Louisville, which were part of one of the most disappointing seasons of Mark Stoops’ tenure. Expect those two weekends to be highlighted during Kentucky’s time in the spotlight.
Additionally, the trailer offers a brief glimpse of Maxwell Hairston and Dane Key sitting on a front porch in Lexington, accompanied by a dog that I believe Hairston adopted at a KSR remote.

Later in the trailer, Deone Walker is spotted driving a three-wheeled, open-air roadster around town.

Beyond the Kentucky angle, “Any Given Saturday” looks awesome, with a deep look into the best of the best in college football. The new series premieres on Tuesday, August 5, on Netflix.

New SEC on ABC theme music
In addition to the new Any Given Saturday trailer, the SEC released a new theme song for Saturdays in the fall. ESPN enlisted the help of Bailey Zimmerman and Luke Combs to provide the soundtrack for SEC Saturdays in 2025.
I’m still partial to the old SEC on CBS music myself.
