No. 1 St. Xavier concludes MADE Hoops Main Event with win over Tennessee Collegiate Academy 76-74
No. 1 St. Xavier (3-1) hosted the 2025 MADE Hoops Main Event, featuring eight games with nine teams across six states and two countries. The Tigers held off Tennessee Collegiate Academy (TCA) (9-4) 76-74 in the event’s final game on Sunday.
“We want to continue to take it to another level,” said St. Xavier coach Kevin Klein. “To be able to play two nationally ranked teams this early in the season on our home court…is what it’s all about.”

SPIRE Academy was the only team to finish 2-0.
TCA was founded this year as a prep school on the outskirts of Memphis, TN, and is already making noise as an EYBL Scholarship program. They knocked off national power Prolific Prep 65-64 earlier this season.
Both schools are coming into this game with fewer than 24 hours rest. On Saturday, St. Xavier was blown out by SPIRE Academy 83-61 and TCA held off Iowa United 64-61, led by Houston commit Arafan Diane.
Game Recap
The Tigers started hot, knocking down four threes, each from different players, accelerating to an early 12-3 lead. Their hot streak would fade, however, as they coasted to a 36-30 lead at half with six three-pointers and high-pressure defense, forcing five steals. Tigers’ guard Chief Cameron led them in scoring with 11 points on five-of-six shooting and two steals on the other end.
The TCA Spartans leaned on their balanced scoring attack, as six players scored at least a basket by the break.
The third quarter was the Josh Lindsay (No. 35 overall in 2028) show. After knocking down three-pointers and mid-range shots for St. X, the high-flying sensation capped off his 13-point quarter with an electric alley-oop dunk with his head near the rim.

In the fourth, Cameron’s inside scoring would power the Tigers to keep their lead. However, TCA clawed back, narrowing the deficit to three with under a minute to go. The Spartans’ Lincoln Vinson hit a free throw to narrow the lead to two, but Lindsay iced the game as he hit both free throws to put the Spartans out of reach for their final possession.
Lindsay finished with 21 points, but it was Cameron who stole the show for the Tigers. He finished with 26 points on 10-of-16 shooting, seven assists, and 11 rebounds, with eight of them on the offensive end. Not bad for a point guard.
“He’s the head of our snake. When he’s at his best, our team is at its best,” said Klein on Cameron. “He impacts the game in so many ways. It’s on-ball D for 84 feet, it’s rebounding from both end of the floor…He’s a proven winner.”
TCA had four players in double figures, as Mason Williams led the team with 23 points on 8-of-11 shooting.
