Not Very Nice at All

kevinhart.bmp Now for something that is so bad that it is kind of painful. Lets say that you are a high school football player and you are trying to figure out what to do with your college career. You get phone calls from coaches, you talk to them a number of times and then you finally make a decision....the only problem is that you decide on a school that never recruited you. Such is the life of Utah high school player Kevin Hart. Last week Hart committed to California to play for Jeff Tedford....only it turns out that Tedford and Cal have never been recruiting him and dont even know who he is. Further, another of the schools on Hart's list, the Oregon "EDuck" Ducks, also dont claim to know anything about Hart either. So what does this mean? Well one of two things. The authorities are investigating whether Hart was a victim of an elaborate prank in which people impersonated the coaches and raised Hart's hopes up in that manner. Of course there is another possibility....the "delusion" possibility in which Hart thought he was being recruited by Cal in the same way that sometimes guys think the hot girl in school likes them simply because they walk by them in class and dont run away in horror. Either way, a tough day for Kevin Hart....his story makes that Adam Williams commitment without an offer story look almost tame.
