On Monday, Tonie Morgan was selected to the Nancy Lieberman Point Guard of the Year Preseason Top 20 Watch List. Now, her teammate, Jordan Obi, has been selected to the Preseason Top 20 Watch List for the Cheryl Miller Award — the award given to the best small forward in the country.

The 6-foot-1 senior is expected to play more shooting guard than small forward this season at Kentucky — even being listed as a guard on the official UK roster — but hey, who’s gonna say no to that kind of honor?

Obi, at least on the national level, has been heavily overlooked this offseason. In her three years at Penn, she was an all-conference player there. Her junior season, she averaged 14.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.4 rebounds per game, while making 38.6% of her three-point attempts.

After missing all of last season due to a lower leg injury, it should be interesting (and exciting) to watch her finally go to work and prove why she may be one of the more underrated players in the country.
