Ole Miss took the third game of the series, 9-6, to sweep the three game set with UK.  The Rebels scored a run in every inning except the first and the ninth with a steady parade of hits, 17 in all, to take control of a back and forth affair in the last three innings. "We've got to pitch better.  We've got to get the ball down, we've got to work ahead in the count, and we've got to throw some off-speed pitched for strikes",  Head Coach Gary Henderson said after the game.  "We'll be fine.  We'll practice Tuesday and Wednesday and we'll get ready for the Thursday night game in Knoxville." The Cats got on the board first in the bottom of the first as Ka'ai Tom smacked a two-out double off the old scoreboard in right to score Max Kuhn and A.J. Reed. UK added two more in the second as freshman right-fielder Storm Wilson led off the Wildcat half of the inning with a home run to right-center field, his third of the year and second of the series.  Kuhn would tack on another run with a two-out RBI single to make it 4-1 after two to chase the Ole Miss starter.   Ole Miss would cut the Wildcat lead to 4-3 with two runs in the third as both teams traded runs over the next two innings.  The Rebels would tie the game with a run in the sixth and and would take the lead for good with two runs in the seventh and one in the eighth. Wildcat starter Andrew Nelson worked four innings, giving up four runs (three earned) on six hits, with a strikeout and a walk apiece in a no-decision.  Kyle Cody took over for Nelson in the fifth, working an inning and two-thirds, giving up two runs on three hits before being replaced by Logan Salow who was hung with the loss after giving up three runs (two earned) in an inning and a third. The Cats, now 27-17 on the season and 9-12 in SEC play will try to rebound next weekend as they travel down I-75 to Knoxville for the a three game set against the Vols (26-15, 8-13 SEC).  The first game of the series will be the SEC Game of the Week Thursday night on ESPNU.
