One More Bracketology before the Early Bracket Reveal

The first bracket of March Madness will soon be here. Before the Cats tip-off against the Crimson Tide, CBS will air the Early Bracket Reveal Show Saturday at 12:30 pm ET. The Selection Committee will share the top 16 seeds to this point in the season.
Before bracketologists receive a cheat code from the committee, let’s see where they stand entering the event. As expected, Kentucky dropped to a two-seed following the loss at Tennessee. Joe Lunardi currently has the Cats in the East, sharing the Philadelphia Regional with Kansas.

Shelby Mast at BracketWAG.com also has UK as the two-seed in the East. The average among all bracketologists has UK slotted in as the fifth overall seed.
Kentucky’s seed situation remains fluid. Barring a late-season collapse, there’s a hard floor for the Wildcats. John Calipari’s team will face at least four Quad 1 opponents before Selection Sunday, with room to add to that number in the SEC Tournament. There’s an opportunity for the Wildcats to have the most Quad 1 wins of any team in college basketball, certainly leaving the door open for a No. 1 seed. The recipe for a successful Selection Sunday is simple: just win, baby.
