Oscar Tshiebwe is already taking advantage of NIL in the Bahamas

Kentucky center Oscar Tshiebwe’s F-1 student visa doesn’t allow him to participate in “work” opportunities with name, image and likeness. No commercials, no autograph signings, no meet-and-greets, nothing.
Out of the country, though, those restrictions are lifted. And now in the Bahamas for Kentucky’s four-game exhibition tour this week, it hasn’t taken Tshiebwe long to get to work.
The team arrived in the Bahamas on Monday. By this evening, the Kentucky superstar center has already begun capitalizing on out-of-country NIL opportunities.
Kyle Tucker of The Athletic captured Tshiebwe participating in a photoshoot for NIL Monday evening.
While this is the start of Tshiebwe’s in-person work NIL opportunities in the Bahamas, the Kentucky star has been capitalizing on his return to Kentucky and this trip to paradise for a while now.

He’s partnered with Kentucky Branded to release exclusive Oscar Bahamas 2022 shirts, which can be purchased here. The standout center has also partnered with Walkaway Sports’ new SRV Trainer, a multifunctional basketball training tool. As part of the deal, Walkaway Sports is offering, for a limited time, an Oscar Tshiebwe t-shirt featuring the unanimous national player of the year posing with his many trophies.

For every t-shirt purchased, you will receive one entry for an autographed limited edition print of the original artwork, of which only 15 will be produced. Oscar will draw ten lucky winners on August 12 during his Walkaway Sports photoshoot on Kentucky’s trip to the Bahamas. The drawing will be streamed live or posted afterward.
Those t-shirts are still available here.
Needless to say, it’s the start of a very, very busy week for Tshiebwe — both on and off the floor.
