papa-gone Papa John Schnatter's run with the University of Louisville Athletic Association has come to a tragic end. All those better ingredients, all that better pizza -- gone from the UofL board. Details are limited at this time, but WHAS in Louisville is reporting Papa John resigned from his position. Kenny Klein over at UofL confirmed the news. The resignation came shortly after Papa John blasted Tom Jurich at a Board of Trustees meeting, calling Jurich's leadership “invisible.” “The athletics thing scares me,” Papa said. “Because I have met with Greg (Postel) and he goes, the leadership is invisible. I said, get them in front of the trustees (board) so we can know what they’re doing. And he goes, good luck. He’s invisible. So, how do we put that third leg of the stool (athletics, others are university and foundation) on notice? Invisible! Invisible.” Now Schnatter is the invisible one at today's meeting in Louisville.
