Pardon My Take to host KSR later this month

KSR’s summer guest week came and went without the show’s annual “Pardon My Takeover,” the day Big Cat and PFT Commenter host Kentucky Sports Radio. The popular hosts of Barstool’s “Pardon My Take” have filled in for Matt Jones once a year since 2016, but scheduling conflicts kept them off the summer lineup last month.

So, the No. 1 sports podcasters are taking over KSR later this month to keep the streak of guest-hosting alive another year. According to Matt Jones on this morning’s show, Big Cat and PFT will take your KSR calls on Tuesday, August 29, while the show’s regular crew is traveling back to Kentucky from a three-day weekend.

Among the list of talking points, you can expect a tribute to Harvey, who was a recurring guest and PMT favorite the last two times PMT hosted KSR.

KSR Live from Kentucky Football Media Day

On Friday, August 4, Kentucky Sports Radio will broadcast live from Kentucky Football Media Day at Kroger Field. Matt Jones and Drew Franklin will be at Media Day from 10 a.m. to noon to talk football from the scene and, hopefully, pull aside some of the coaches for on-air interviews during the show. Ryan Lemond is unable to attend.
