Our friend Brett Dawson is reporting that
Patrick Patterson will start the season on the Inactive list for the Houston Rockets. Under current NBA rules, each team must have 12 players active at a time and can have one player who is on the "inactive" list, but can return at any point. Patterson will start the season on this list and thus wont suit up for the Rockets' opening game on Wednesday night. Bit of a bummer for the big Patterson fans around here, but I am sure the situation will be remedied soon and we will see him on the court very shortly.
