The next week is big in the world of football recruiting as it is the
last visitation week before the dead period. And what does that mean? Well for one, it means the
Cats are out Wide Receiver hunting. After this year's so-so season ran away a couple of the nation's top prospects who were looking to Lexington, the Cats are looking in the JUCO route and the most likely candidate to join the Lexington crew is
Chris Matthews, a JUCO WR from California. Matthews visited this weekend, was impressed by the facilities and the team and told some folks around the program that UK was his leader. As we all know, in football it isnt over until the paper is signed, but for now we may be looking at a 4 star JUCO WR from California....can someone say Stevie Got Loose?
No word on if our other candidates will include Wolf Blitzer and Sean Hannity.
