Gonzaga has had Kentucky’s number since the schools played the first game of a 6-year series back in 2022. The folks in Las Vegas believe the Bulldogs will once again assert their dominance over the Cats on Saturday night.

Kentucky opens a 5.5-point underdog on FanDuel against Gonzaga with a total of 163.5. You can get Kentucky at 2-1 on the moneyline. DraftKings has the line at Gonzaga -4.5. and a total of 164.5. KenPom projects an 86-80 victory for the Zags.

A Drew Timme-led Gonzaga won 88-72 in Spokane two seasons ago. Last year’s game at Rupp Arena went down to the wire, but ultimately Mark Few’s program prevailed with an 89-85 victory.

Each team enters this top-ten matchup with a 7-1 record. Kentucky suffered its first loss of the season at Clemson on Tuesday. The Wildcats are 5-3 Against the Spread (ATS) and the over has hit in three of the last five contests. Gonzaga is 6-2 ATS with overs hitting in six of their eight games, including three straight. The Bulldogs suffered their first loss during Feast Week, falling to West Virginia in overtime of the opening round of the Battle 4 Atlantis.

The Wildcats only have one win ever over the Zags. Keith Bogans scored a team-high 18 points in an 80-72 win for Tubby Smith’s team in Maui back in 2002.
