If you're a regular morning show listener (if not, why not?), then you know all about our friend John Ramsey, aka Captain Suntan. Captain Suntan hosts a UofL-based radio show with Mike Rutherford and, since the UofL sex scandal broke a few months back, has become obsessed with finding the "mole" that leaks information to Matt from time to time. Now, it appears all of those on-air accusations have finally landed Captain Suntan in some hot water.
According to The Courier-Journal,
Ramsey and Rutherford are being sued by Scott Jennings and his PR firm for falsely accusing Jennings of being Matt's mole on air after Matt leaked the news about UofL's self-imposed postseason ban:
According to a transcript filed with the suit, Ramsey and Rutherford on their Feb. 16 show said it was "unprofessional" and "unethical" for Jennings to leak the information because his company has a contract to provided public relations advice to the U of L Foundation.
"Scott Jennings, hope you are proud of yourself," Ramsey said, according to the transcript. "You can flush that company."
Something tells me Ramsey won't be able to flush this suit.
