Quick Billy G SEC Teleconference Notes
Billy Clyde was chatting at the SEC Teleconference today.....couple of notes:
(1) Billy Clyde says he wasnt sure what the time frame would be for Carter's return. Mentioned that he got hurt five minutes into the first pickup game after he arrived. He sounded very downtrodden on his possibilities.
(2) He was complimentary of the players that are coming back and said that they had good "foundations" already in terms of fundamentals and the like. I took that as a very gracious compliment to the previous administration.
(3) He was very high on Patrick Patterson and said he will contribute a great deal right away. He also mentioned that he believed recruiting buzz for Kentucky was high and that the early commitments helped make that happen.
(4) He also mentioned that they would fill the third assistant slot soon and that they had waited for some NBA people originally which delayed the hiring.
