Ramel Bradley arrested for trespassing, physical altercation with security officer

Former Kentucky Basketball player Ramel Bradley was arrested in Lexington on Sunday and charged with resisting arrest, criminal trespassing, and other charges. Bradley was trespassing at an apartment complex on Red Mile Road when he allegedly got into a physical altercation with a security officer. The news was first reported by WKYT.
According to the citation, Bradley allegedly “entered or remained unlawfully upon a premise as to which notice against trespass is given by fencing or other enclosure.” He also allegedly resisted arrest by “using physical force or creating a substantial risk of causing physical injury” to an officer. Bradley was also riding a moped without a license and allegedly had a marijuana blunt on him. He is charged with marijuana possession, second-degree criminal trespassing, second-degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and driving a moped without a valid operating license.

Bradley played for Kentucky from 2004-08, totaling 1,3726 points, 365 rebounds, and 316 assists in 128 games. The New York native earned All-SEC First Team honors in his senior season (2007-08), averaging 15.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game for Billy Gillispie’s first Kentucky team. After graduation, Bradley played professionally overseas for eight years.
