Randall Cobb is expected to return to the Green Bay Packers to reunite with Aaron Rodgers.

NFL radio guru Chris Brockman was the first to report that Cobb to Green Bay is a “done deal,” with Tom Pelissero of NFL Network later confirming that a trade is in the works.

To add gas to the flame, Cobb’s Texans teammate Brandin Cooks all but confirmed a trade was imminent, tweeting his excitement about the former Wildcat’s return “home.”

“You meet people and they become family right away!” Cooks tweeted. “(Cobb) go back home and set it off.”

NFL expert Trey Wingo reported on Monday that Rodgers’ return to Green Bay – the two sides were in a bitter feud all offseason regarding the legendary quarterback’s future with the Packers – was contingent on the franchise trading for the former Kentucky star.

In his eight-year stint with the Packers, Cobb hauled in 41 touchdowns and 5,524 total yards on 470 receptions.

Now, it appears Rodgers and Cobb will reunite in Green Bay once more.

Time to get your green and yellow #18 jerseys back out, BBN.
